"SACRIFICED TO TAMMANY."
COMMMISSIONER OF POLICE DISMISSED. . LONDON, July 2. Mr G. B." M'Clelland, Mayor of New York, has dismissed General T. A. Bingham, Commissioner of Police, ostensibly because he refused to dismiss certain subordinates. The New York correspondent of "The Times" reports that the general interpretation is that General Bingham has been sacrificed to Tammany.
