By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 4. It is probable, in consequence of the Canterbury Hockey Association refusing to give the Auckland Association any guarantee, that the Auckland v. Cantarbury representative match, set down for decision at Christchurch on August 19th, Will be abandoned, and a match with Southland, at Invercargill, substituted. - The latter body has offered the Aucklanders substantial financial assistance;
