REVENUE RETURNS.

1 Received July 2, 8.20 a.m. LONDON, July 1. The quarterly revenue returns amount to £31,695,000, Customs contributing £7,961,000, Excise £6.822,000, and Stamps £1,825,000. Two noticeable features of the returns are that the property and income tax yielded £3,286,000, a decrease of £914,000, and the estate duties £6,464,000, an increase of £2,124,000. Received July 2, 11.10 a.m. BRISBANE, July 2. The State revenue for the year is £4,778,000, an increase of £277,000; and the expenditure is £4,756,000.
