Messrs Dalgety and Comi any, Ltd., report as follows on their fortnightly sale at Eketahuna yesterday:— Entries came in up to advertised r umbers, but ("11 not sell so freely as at last sab. Sheep did not sell too well under the hammer, but W3 eventually sold our w ole yarding at satisfactoiy prices. In cattle, vendors' ideas of values, in mcst cases, were above those of would-be purchasers. However, we sold the bulk of our yarding, and have on the whole to report a satisfactory sale. We quote Two and 4 tooth wethers up to lis 9d; mixed lambs, 63 9d, 73 fii, ta Ss9d; ewe lambs, 103 lOd; mi<?d a„ r e 1 ewes, in lamb, 7s 6d, 8s 31. yj 91, lis 6d, to lis 93. Cattle. —Spriri ,'in j: h-.-ifers, £2 7s to £4 15s; empty cows, £2 6s to £2 14s; 2 to 2£ year steers, £2 123; 20 months i steers, £2 3s.
