Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report [on their Palmerston North sale, held to-day, as follows: —A good entry of sheep met with spirited competition; "cattle also met with a keen demand, and all jots sold readily at satisfactory prices. They quote:—Fat "wethers, 14s lOd; fat and forward wethers, 23s 8d to 14s Id; forward wethers, 13s 2d; store wethers, 10s 10d to lis 7d; fat eWB3, lis <sd to lis M; fat and forward ewes, 10s lid; good lambs, 9a lid; medium lambs, 7s id to 7s 3d; cull lambs, 6s; mixed aged ewes in lamb, low condition,|Bs to 9s lOd; 2tooth to s.m. ewes in lamb, 10s lOd: 3-year bullocks, £5 Cs 6d; fat and forward cows, £3 ss; forward cows, £2' 12s 6d; springing cows,§£s.
