A CHILD DROWNED. By Telegraph—Press Association. BLENHEIM, July 1. A child, named Ruby Constance Bright, aged three and a-half years, was drowned in the Awatere river, this morning. A trap containing Bright, wife and his three children, was crossing the river when it cap* sized. All but the baby got safely ashore. The latter was Bwept away and drowned.
