Mir.ett, K. Welch; half, F. Ball; wing forward, K. McKenzie; forwards, A. Millar, G. Allen, J. Collett, J. Gilray, D. Ross, K. Welch. P. McLachlan.
Aa showing the interest that has been created in football in the Tenui district, by the handsome challenge cup presented by Mr Maunsell, no lesa than four senior teams met in competition at Tenui last; Saturday. Mr Maunsell takes keen interest in all matters pertaining to sport, etc. The following ia the Masterton 111. team to play Dalefield 111. at Dalefield, on Saturday next:—G. Yates, J. Carmine. L. Johns, E. Fisher, Simonson (2), J. Hanley, S. Dixon, A. Eddy, A. Pauling, H. Billington, Baker, T. Rayner, W. McHattie, N. Fly. Emergency, Mace. The drag will leave White's shop at 1.15 p.m. sharp. The Red Star Juniors and Thirdclass players will hold a practice match on the Showgrounds, on- Saturday next.
