A DARING ROBBERY.

FROM A CHURCH

By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 29. A daring robbery from St. Mark's Church occurred between 11 o'clock last night and daylight this morning. Someone effected an entrance into the vicarage from the front window, and proceeded to the Rev. A. M. Johnson's bedroom, and extracted from the pockets of his clothing the keys of the vestry. The intruder made his way into the vestry, and opened the safe, there stealing about fifteen or twenty pounds' worth of jewellery belonging to Mrs Johnson, and also about £2O in cash.
