Gabel's torpedo, costing £3,000 sterling, and containing 1980 pounds of dynamite, which is directed by wireless electricity, for a long distance, has been tested in the River Seine.

According to the "Daily Chronicle's" Paris correspondent, the trial proved wonderfully successful.
