STOCK MARKETS.
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd. report on their Masterton stock sale held yesterday. Stock came forward up to advertised numbers, and we have to report a successful sale, all lots of sheep being disposed of, and all the cattle with the exception of a few odd lots. We quote:—Sheep: Wethers, 10s 9d to lls8d; ewes in lamb, best, lis 6d; others, 7s; lambs, 5s 91 7s 2d, 8s 6d, 8s 8d to 9s sd. Cattle: 2i--year steerß, £3 13s; 18-months to 2-year steers, £2 to £2 15s; fat heifers, £3 13s 6d; springing heifers, £3 12s 6d; empty heifers, £2 17s empty cows, £1 17s to £2 10s; weaners, 24s to 30s.
