THE NATIONAL BANK.

By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, June 23.

The National Bank has received a cable from Board advising the declaration of a dividend of 5 per cent, for the half-year, and a bonus to shareholders of 3 per cent., equalling 13 per cent, in all for the year.to March 31st last. The sum of £25,000 has been added to the reserve, which will then stand at £375,000, and £13,000 carried forward. The directors have further allocated premises, and' £3,000 to the officers' pension fund, and granted a bonus to t he. staff.

The annual meeting will be held in London next month
