LONDON MEAT MARKET.
By Telegraph—Press Association, NAPIER. June 17. The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company's cablegram shows no improvement in the mutton and lamb markets. Second quality lamb has fallen one-eighth of a penny, and beef values are unchanged. Quotations are: —Canterbury mutton, 3fd; Napier, Wellington and North Island, 2§d; lambs, first quality, sgd; second quality, 3|d. Beef: Hindquarters, 4§d; forequarters, 2?d.
