The Scottish coalminers have given three months' notice to terminate the Conciliation Board. | The men have accepted the notice. POSSIBLE RESULT OF A LOCKOUT. DEMAND FOR NATIONALISATION OF MINES. Received June 16, 8.55 a.m. LONDON, June 15. Mr J. Keir-Hardie, Labour member for Merthyr, declares that if a lockout occurs in the South Wales collieries the fight will be, not for an eight hour day and a minimum wage of six shillings, but for the nationalisation of coal mines.
Mr Hardie urged French, Belgian and German miners not to supply the English markets during the struggle.
