METEOROLOGICAL.
By Telegraph—Press Association. ~ WELLINGTON, June 14. Thr following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' general weather forecast: — An extensive area of low pressure prevails, and high north-westerly winds will probably change by west to south-west after about eighteen hours, with squally and unsettled weather everywhere; seas increasing on the western coast, 4 and south of lillast Cape, after about twenty hours.
Mr J. C. Boridington reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours preceding 9 a.m. on Sunday was 9 points; and for the 24 hourd preceding 9 a.m. on Monday, 4 points.
