The Nightcaps Coal „ Company, while! endeavouringg to make a raaikt in Dunedin, found i.tself face to face with something in the nature of a combine in the shape of the Otago Coal Mine Owners' Association, who refused to allow Dunedin merchants to buy and sell Nightcaps coal at n"t less than 24s a ton. It is stated that the matter will be ventilated and brought before Parliament.
