The Natal referendum on the question of accepting tha South African Constitution resulted in an overwhelming majority in favour of union. voting was as follows: — In favour of union 11,121 Against 3,701 Mr A. Fischer (Premier), Mr Stein (formerly President of the Orange Free State), Mr Hertzog (Attorney-General) and Mr Browne, M.L.C., will represent Orange River Colony in the presentation of the new Constitution to the authorities in London.
