ALLEGED INFANTICIDE.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WOODVILLE, June 12. At the Police Court to-day, John Cline, roadman, at Dannevirke, and Alice Maud Shepherd, a domestic, were brought up and charged with the murder of an infant, the body of which was found in a town sewer here a fortnight ago. The police applied for a remand till next Friday, which was granted. Bail was refused.
