The whole of the licenses in the district were renewed, with the exception of the Herbertville Hotel, which tras adjourned fcr three months to allow of the tansfer of the license. The Aohanga Ferry accommodation licence fee was raised from £5 to £2O. A couple of licensees Ytere severely warned re their personal conduct. The annual meetings for the future will be held at Pahiatua. Before concluding the chairman, Mr James, S.M., very highly complimented Constable Brosnahan, Clerk to the Committee for the laet eleven years, who is now retiring, lon the splendid efficiency of his I work.
