COPENHAGEN, June 3
In connection with the sale of Hoi bein's picture of Princess Christina, of Denmark, Duchess of Milan, by the Duke of Norfolk on May 2nd, it is stated that the purchaser was about to sell it to an American fjr £75,000, when subscriptions saved it for the Danish nation. One anonymous The Treasury added £IO,OOO.
