A TRAM STRIKE.
SERIOUS RIOTING. A POLICEMAN SHOT. HUNDRED STRIKERS INJURED. UnitediPress Association—By Electric Telegraph Copvrignt. Received June 4, 8.35 a.m. NEW YORK, June 3. During disturbances arising out of a tram strike, at Philadelphia, a policeman was shot. Many "blacklegs" were dragged from cats and unmercifully beaten. A hundred of the strikers were injured in street fighting, and five cars were wrecked.
