HOCKEY.
The following are the Wairarapa Hockey Association's Senior and Junior fixtures for June 10th:— SENIOR. Knox v. W.F.C.A., atTMasterton. JUNIOR. Knox v. Carterton, at Masterton; W.F.C.A. v. Carterton U f - at Carterton. The following is the W.F.C.A. team to play the Technical School Club, at Palmerston North, on Thursday next: —Hall, S.mith, Hendry, Scrimgeour, Pragnell, Thynne. Dickson, Fairbrother, Grange, Parker, Warren Williams. The local players will leave by the 6.15 a,m. train. The Patron (Mr A. C. Major) of the Ladies' Hockey Association has presented a handsome Cup for competition. In response to a request that the Cup should be named, the Patron asked that it be known as the "Age" Cup, and the conditions are that it cannot be won outright until it has been won either three years in succession or five years at intervals. A meeting of the Ramblers Club will be held this evening, in the Y.M.C A. Rooms, at 9.50 o'clock. The members will hold a practice this morning and to-morrow morning, on the Showgrounds, in view of the match with the Celtics on Thursday next.
A match will be played on the Showgrounds on Thursday next, be-' tween the Wellington Celtics and the Ramblers ladies' clubs.
The following will represent Carterton against the Wellington CJub, at Wellington, on June 3rd:—Reid, Eagle, Fisher (3), Morgan, King, 1 Petersen, Tunnicliffe (2). Sievers. The following is the Carterton junior team, to play Metropolitan at Wellington: Ellis, Tunnicliffe, Pairbrother, Dewdney, Wallis, Sievers, Major, Dudson (2), Whyte.
