REJECTION OF REACTIONARY DEMANDS.

Messrs Botha and J. E. Smuts secured at the Het Volk Congress the rejection of the reactionary demands on behalf of the Dutch Church, seeking to regain control of the schools, and also attempting to obtain the bilingual qualification for all officials in view of the superseding of British officials.
