A SYDNEY SENSATION.
ONE MAN WOUNDED. A FARMER ARRESTED. Received June 1, 12.40 a.m. SYDNEY, Mav 31. A farmer named Robertson visited the office of Barter and Company, in Hunter street, this afternoon, and after a heated discussion fired four revolver shots. One bullet smashed Ernest Barter's jaw, passing out of his mouth. He was removed to the hospital. Robertson was arrested on a charge of sh.oting with intent to murder.
It ia understood that the trouble was over monetary transactions.
