PRIVY COUNCIL APPEALS.

A WARNING. Received May 28, 9.55 a.m. SYDNEY, May 28. Ac the sitting of the High Court, Chief Justice Griffith, th* other judges concurring, criticised the New South Wales Government and the Privy Council over the reversal of the High Court's decisions. His Honor said that three'out of the four reversals were based on evidence not brought forward m Australia. He uttered a warning against the danger of allowing new points to be made on appeal which wep not raised in the court from which the appeal was brought.
