LABOUR MEMBERS IN BERLIN.
AN EXPLANATION. Received May 29, 8.45 a.m. BERLIN, May 27. The attitude of the German Social Democrats in regard to the reception of the Labour members of the British House of Commons is due to Germany's refusal to consider Britain's overtures for a reduction of naval armaments.
The Socialists consider the demonstrations of friendship are hypocritical.
