JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP.

KNOX v. W.F.C.A. ; The Knox and W.F.C.A. juniors met on the Showgrounds yesterday afternoon, a keen content resulting. For a junior game some very good play was shown. In the first spell there was no score. In the second half, shortly after starting, Berry scored for Knox, and about five minutes before the call oi time J.. La Roche hit a goal for W.F.C.A. The game, of which Knox had somewhat the best, thus resulted in a draw. For the Knox team, Boyd, Hornblow, Cole, Barry and Berry played well, and for the W.F.C.A. team Parker, Potter, W. Williams, and Keisenberg put in good work. Mr B. Ivesor was referee.

The High School and Huia teams met on the Schoolgrounds yesterday afternoon, a,fine game resulting in a draw —one goal each. Miss B. Scott scored the goal for the High School, and Miss Finnis for Huia. Miss Finnis for the Huias played the best forward game on the ground, her clever work gaining a decided advantage repeatedly for her team. Miss Finnis is certainly the smartest for- J ward seen in the Wairarapa for some considerable time. Misses Ball, Johnston and La Roche also put in serviceable work, while in the school team' Misses I. McKenzie, Scott, O. Dagg, and J. Miller did really good work. Mr J. King was referee. HINEMOA v. KIWI. Hinemoa (Carterton) defeated Kiwi (Dalefield), at Carterton, by 2 goals to nil. RAMBLERS v. KIA TOA. At Greytown yesterday, Kia Toa defeated Ramblers by 3 goals to nil. Miss Z. Humphries (2) and Williams scored the goals. Mr W. K. King was referee.
