District Judge Haselden "was A? re " "Avelled by members of the Bar At Hawera yesterday. The Rev. -*Mother Provincial and "the Rev. Mother Stanislaus have Returned to St. Bride's Convent, •Masterton.from the Pahiatua branch. Mr Chas. Allen, who has been relieving accountant at the local hranch of the Bank of New Zealand for the past four months, in place of Mr C. Pyke, will leave for Wellington to-day. Mr W.i Cook, from the South Island, is at present relieving Mr J. J£ Henry, manager of the local branch of the Bank of New Zealand, who has been temporarily transferred to Pahnerston North. Mr\J. E. Rundle, of the Customs Department, has been transferred to Wellington from Napier. He has been a representative Hawke's Bay ihockey-player and lieutenant in the .Napier Guards. The resignation of Bishop Wil- : Hams, of Waiapu, will probably be accepted at the conference of -Bishops, to be held in Cbristchurch shortly. Election of a successor will. be a matter for the General Synod to •■arrange. The friends of the Rev. Mother Brigid, of Pahiatua, Convent, willre cret to learn that the condition of her health is not very reassuring, as her trip to Auckland, where she now is, not so far having-had the restorative effect desired.
