DISQUALIFICATIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 15. The Takapuna Jockey Club decided to disqualify during the club's pleasure, J. Grant, in whose name the horse Tauriki, was raced at the winter meeting, and S. Darragh, owner of the horse, for supplying false information. The committee awarded the stakes won by Tauriki in the Maiden Plate and Welter and Pupuke Handicaps to the second horses. PONY AND GALLOWAY RACES. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 16. Thej following are the results of the Wellington Pony and Galloway Club's meeting on Saturday;— Dreadnought Handicap, 5£ furlongs— Aurifera, 11.8, 1; Miss Ivy, 8.8, 2; Anglican, 9.0, 3. Won by a length. Time, lmin 18 3-ssec. Second Maiden Race, i\ furlongs —Huia, 8.5, 1; After Dark, 9.0, 2; Mermaid, 8.7, 3. Won by one and a half lengths. Time, lmin ssec. Handicap, 6 furlongs— Moata, 11.3, 1; Picotee, 8.5, 2; Miretta, 10.10, 3. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 29j£sec. Wainui Handicap, 4 furlongs— Huia, 8.4, 1; Dorinn, 8.13, 2; Lady Dauphin, 8.11, 3. Won by half a ength. Time, 56sec, Khandallah Handicap, 5£ furlongs —-Aurifera, 11.13 (including 51b penalty), 1; Miss Ivy, 8.8, 2; Miretta. 30.8, 3. Won by a length. Huia Handicao, 4£ furlongs—Anglican, 9.0, 1; Heatherlea Lass, 10.10, 2; Merrimanu, 8.9, 3. Won by five lengths.
WANGANUI TRAINING NOTES. By Telegprah—Press Association. WANGANUI, May 15. There was boisterous weather, and the track was heavy, this morning. St. Bill, looking a picture,"galloped five furlongs most attractively. Dnil galloped freely and well over a couple of circuits. Cauldron shaped nicely over five furlongs. Daisy Paul covered a mile by herself, moving very pleasingly. Mahuta and Irish Rifle hopped off together over five furlongs. The former appeared to hold his companion safely, but the pair finished abreast. Chase Mab was too good for Marshal over seven furlongs. Whimper was given a round over the schooling fences, jumping in good style, and then did a couple of circuits on the grass at half pace. A large number of other, 1 ? did serviceable work.
