THE GOVERNOR.
STATEMENT DENIED. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, May 13. With reference to the recently published statement as to the contemplated departure of the Governor from Dominion some months ['prior to the expiry of his term the Governor has intimated to the Prime Minister that there is no foundation for the statement. His Excellency has not even considered the question of the date of his departure from New Zealand.
