UTTERING COUNTERFEIT COINS.

HASTINGS, May 13. • At the Police Court to day Owen r > Kelly was committed for trial on a -charge of having, in his possession and uttering counterfeit coins. namely, sixpences gilded to resemble - -half sovereigns. The police deposed that accused passed the coins on the racecourse, and that after his arrest he said he gave them to no one but book--makers.
