PERSONAL.
TMr Edward Urry, an old resident 'of Palmerston North, died last week. Mr J. D. Cruickshank, of Masterton, returned from Palmerston North, last evening, where he had been attending a conference from various district Chambers of Commerce, held for the pumose of discussing generally the railway arrangements in connection with the district service. Mr G. A.. Fairbrother, of Carterton, was also present at the meeting.
