SIR ROBT. STOUT'S VIEWS. Received May 10, 11.58 p.m. LONDON, May 10. The "Daily News" interviewed Sir Robert Stout, who, in the course of his remarks, said that children secularly trained in New Zealand produce only half the criminals in proportion to numbers that those trained in denominational schools do. added that the att:» tude of the English Non-conformists and Liberals amazed him. They seek, he said, to disestablish the church, yet seek to maintain a sect school as the children's church.
