By Ttlegrcph—Press Association. -WELLINGTON, May 10. The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' weath;-r forecast:-- General high westerly winds are probable north of Kawhia and East Cape, and south-easterly elsewhere; heavy rain is probable'on the East Coast of the showery weather elsewhere, though still somewhat uncertain in the southt'rn districts; there are indications in all parts after about 12 hours f it a steady rise in the barometer. Mr J. C. Boddington reports that t'.ie rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours preceding 9 a.m. on Mondsy was 20 points.
