DR. BARNADO'S HOMES.

« The Rev. W. E. Rice, organising secretary of the Australasian tour of the Rev. W. J. Mayer and Dr. Barnado's musical boys, paid a visit to Masterton yesterday in order to arrange for musical meetings, similar to those which have been held /'if ur- , ther South with great success. The party have been working their ;way through the South Island from Invercargill to Christchurch, and the pro- . ceeds for that section of the Dominion amount to consideiably over £2,000. Mr Rice has arranged for meetings in tne Town Hall, Masterton, on Thursday and Friday, May •27th and 28th, full particulars of which will appear in a later issue.
