By Telegraph—Press Association. Received May 5, 10 p.m. SYDNEY, May 5. The "Kanagroos" (Australian professional team) defeated a New South Wales team by 34 points to 8. The returned team was cleverer in a'l departments of play, showing that the visit to England had greatly improved them in the finer points of the game. The following will represent the Red Star Seniors against the Red Star Juniors, un the Showgrounds, on Saturday next:—Full-back, A? Thompson; threequarters, W, Darvill, P. McLachlan, K. Welch; fiveeighth, W. Minett; half-back, M. Iggulden; wings, R. McKenzie, R. Welch; forwards, A. Miller, J. McLaren, Moana Paretena, J. Collett, J. Corbett, C. Ross, H. Chamberlain? Emergencies —Cross and McKenzie. The team for the season will be selected from those taking part in the match. The following will represent Red Star 111., in a practice match on the Showgrounds, on Saturday afternoon next:—Godler, Mason, Yates, Treen,' Riddle, Dixon, O'Dowd. Galley, Welch. Boyd, Harris, Clark, Smith, Miller, Hoar, Montgomery, Ibbetson, Berry. Play will commence at 2.30 o'clock.
