THE SYDNEY TOURNAMENT. Received May 3, f .30 p.m. SYDNEY, May 3. The unfinished'matches in the New Zealand v. New South Wales ladies' contest were played to day. As the New Zealanders had already practically secured a win little interest was taken in the games. In the Singles Miss Baker, beat Miss Nun ae. J ley, 7—5, in the concluding set of the unfinished match. Miss Wellwood beat Miss Lee, love—6, 6—4, 7—5, Miss Ward beat Miss Jones, 7—5, 6—3. Doubles: Misses Grey and Travel's beat Mrs Doyle and Miss Gardiner, having a walk-over. At the Sydney Club's Tournament in the final of the Ladies' Single Handicap Miss Powdrell beat Miss Lee, 4—6, 7—5, 6—3. In the final of the Doubles Handicap, Misses Addison and Yuile (Victoria) beat Mrs Goldie and Miss Grey, 6 —2, 6—3.
