The hares ran out in the middle of the second round, and it was decid2d to divide the stake among the nineteen dogs remaining, in the second round Messenger beat Sunny Morn, Golden Girl beat Clem Black, Spiteful Nell beat General Kuropatkin, and Gold Quartz beat Armota.
