TASMANIAN ELECTIONS.
SUPPOSED LABOUR GAINS. HOBART, May 1. Under the new system of polling the full results of the State elections wil not be known t'll next wsek. Judging from the incomplete returns, the Labour Party has secured four more seats. There are indications that many of the Conservatives in the old Parliament have been defeated. The Premier (Hon. Mr Evans) and the Treasurer (Hon. J. Urquhart) are certain of return, but the election of the Minister of Lands, (Mr Hean) is doubtful. Women tookjja great interest in the election, and polled heavily.
