TRIAL OF WILLIAMS. STATEMENT BY ACCUSED. Received April 28, 10 a.m. SYDNEY, April 28. At the trial of the youth Williams, charged with the murder of Johnston at Wee Waa, in December last, accused made a statement that he was working for Johnston, and they quarrelled. Johnston struck him, and on the spur of the moment he picked up a hammer and struck and killed Johnston. He sank the body in the river, and afterwards sold Johnston's horses and waggon.
