A BARQUE ASHORE.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 25. The Postmaster at Levin telegraphs to the Secretary of the Chief Post Office that a constable sent to Hokio beach feturned to-day and reports that a barque is apparently aground there.' He could not distinguish anything by which the vessel could be identified. Three steamers were close to her, but seemed unable to get the barque off. A moderate sea is running' with a considerable swell.
