PERSONAL.
Mrs Hodge left Masterton, yesterday, for Adelaide, to attend the wedding of her niece, second daughter of the Registrar of the Adelaide University, whaJs a brother of the Rev. A. this town. Mr W. H. Kendall, the Wairarapa traveller for Messrs Veitch tand Allen, the well-known Wellington is at present laid up at his home in Crofton with appendicitis. His many Wairarapa friends will wish him'a speedy recovery. Miss Hodge, a very popular young lady of Masterton, has been appointed by the Wellington City Council as assistant in the Central Public Library. Miss Hodge heli a similar position in Dunedin before coming to Masterton.
