Messrs Abraham and Williams, ltd., report on their stock sale held to-day: —An average entry of both sheep and cattle came forward. The demand for cattle was better, and all classes met with ready sale at improved prices. Sheep were dull of sale, and most lines were passed at auction. Most lines changed hands privately at the following prices :—■• Two-tooth ewes 9s, 2-tooth wethers 8s lid, mixed aged ewes in lamb 7s 3d*to Bs, forward ewes 6s 9d to 7s lOd, cull ewes 2s 4d, cull lambs 2s 6d, 3-year steers £4 14s 6d, 2-year steers £3 0s 6d, fat and forward cows £3 4s to £3 15s 6d, forward cows £2 5s to £2 12s, store cows 25s to 30s, good weaner heifers 17s, mixed weaners 9s 6d.
