METEOROLOGICAL.
Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall registered at the Upper Plain for the 24 hours preceding 9 a.m. yesterday was four points. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 21. The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' weather forecast to 3 p.m. to morrow: —Moderate to strong westerly winds are probable' north of Auckland, but expect westerly winds elsewhere, and probably veering to southerly within 36 hours, the barometer falling generally 'in the meantime; ram and cloudy weather probable everywhere and colder shortly.
