'-(From Our Resident Reporter.) ( Monday. Ihe local Order oi Druids have selected the following team to represent them in the seven aside tournament at Masterton on May Ist: Bros. E., H., and N. McKenzie, H. ■ McKinnon, V. L. Fairbrother, Cad- • wallader, and R. Crawley. A practice was held this evening " by Sc. Mark's Church Choir, and on Friday evening they will assist in the Selwyn Commemoration service •-ai Makterton. Miss Andrews, daughter of Mr Alfred Andrews, >of Palmerston North, and at one time resident here, is on a brief visit to friends here. It is understood . that Mr J. T. M. Hornsby, late member for the district, will be a candidate for the : Mayoralty. A gathering of ' Freemasons was . he*ld this evening, in St. MarK's Lodge Room, when R.W. Bro. R. Fletcher; Prov. G.M., installed W. Bro. A. Phillpotts as W.M. of St. "Mark's Lodge. ' A welcome social is to be tendered to the newly-appointed Minister to the South Wairarapa Methodist Circuit on Fr ; day evening.
