AN INVITATION.. WILL CR, HUNTER ACCEPT IT?' On Saturday last we received the following telegram from the Mayor (Mr P. L. Hollings), who- recently went to Napier for the holidays:— "I accept Cr Hunter's challenge on condition that he contest elec- ; tion for Mayor with myself. Will then call a public meeting at which he can debate with me the Borough for the past year.—P. HOLLINGS (Mayor)."
