SYDNEY AGRICULTURAL SHOW.
Received April 15, 9.2 C a.m. SYDNEY, April 15. The total attendance at the Sydney Agricultural Show wa52246,000, and the takings were £10,626, against £8,398 last year. At the stock sales in connectionwith the Agricultural Show, consignments of Lincoln and Leicester sheep on behalf of Mr Reid, Elderslie, Canterbury, ranged from one to three guineas each; and a Romney ram brought 7£ guineas. Mr Dowthwaite's Leicesters sold for 2 to 3£ guineas, and Mr O'Rourke's for IjJ guineas. A Hereford bullock belonging to Mr Mcore, of Busby Park, which took champion for the heaviest beast at the Show, brought £2B. A consignment of horses from the Hayward Company, Christchurch, realised satisfactory prices.
