Mr Giltman, manager of thp "Kangaroos," returned to-day. He attributed the financial failure of the professional's tour to the cotton strike in the North of England, and to the press being dead against them o:i account of the charge for admission. The prices usually charged were twopence and fourpence, but during the tour the charge" was Is.
