CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER.

At the-inquest to-day on Benjamin Mores, boardinghouse keeper, who died in the ho&pital from injuries caused by a blow with a bottle, the evidence went to show that Mores got out of bed to find the cause of a disturbance in his house. He charged Joseph Griffiths with having brought a loafer on to the* premises. Griffiths seized a 'large square bottle ana threw it at Mores, striking him a violent blow on the head. Griffiths, when asked why he had done this, replied that he was sorry; he was in a passion. '

The jury returned a verdict of manslaughter against Griffiths, who is.in custody.
