RED STAR CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Red Star Football Club was held m the Y.M.C.A. Rooms on Saturday evening. Mr E. Welch (President) occupied the chair, and there were also present: —Messrs J. C. Ewington, J. Scorrar, senr., E. A. Baker, T. Chamberlain, K.' Welch, T. O'Dowd. L. Boyd, G. Stewart, G. Ross, J. Wing, N. Chamberlain, D. Easthope, G. Miller. R. Welch, P. McLachlan, L. Welch, F. Ball, 4 J. Collett, G. Hursey, H. Dixon, R. McKenzie, J. Corbett, J. Duggan, E. Hooper, T. Riddell, D. Beeru, J. Scorrar, L. Scorrar, T. Tomlin, J. Ketfnington, H. McKenzie, W, Bannister, W. Blinkhome, A. Ibbetson, J. Clarke, L. Yates, A. Boyd, A-. Miller, T. Flanagan, T. Treen, Harold Miller, T. G. Hoar and B. Tveson. The annual report showed the Club to be in a satisfactory financial posi' tion, there being a credit balance of £7. The Club had had a most successful season last year, having been runner-up in the Senior Competition, first in the Junior i Championship, and first-in the Thiidj class Championship. Regret was ex- ' pressed at the death of Messi's M. I McCarthy and A. two prom- ! inent members of t!i; Club. About twenty members had obtained reprej sentative honours in either first, I second or third-class contests. The thanks of the Club were due to Messrs J. C. Ewington. W. S. Lejt, J. Wing, E. Welch and B. Iveson, for donations to the Club's funds. The report and balance-sheet was adopted. The following new members were elected Messrs J. Scorrar, senr., J. McLaren, J. 'Kennington, Harold Miller, A. Miller, L. Picton, J. McHattie, T. Ellers, H. McKenzie, T. Wyeth, N. Wyeth, H. Christensen, A. Petersen, L. Yates, J. Clarke, S. Bannister, C. Moran, W. Blinkhorne, E. Williams, G. MCHattie, T. D. McLachlan, A. Ibbetson, E. McKane, H. Walker.

It was decided* to fix the subscription as follows: —Seniors, ss; juni ors, 2s 6d; third-chss, 2s. The election of officers for the ensuing-year resulted as follows: Patron, Mr E. Welch; President, Mr J. C. Ewington; Vice-Presidents, "Messrs J. Hunter, W. S. Lett and B. Iveson: Secretary and Treasurer, Mr T. G. Hoar; Captain, Mr J. Duggan; Vice-Captain, Mr R. McKenzie; Selection Committee, Messrs J. Duggan, R. McKenzie and B. Iveson; General Committee, Messrs J. Duggan, E. Hooper, K. Welch, J. Wing, R. McKenzie; delegates to Wairarapa Rugby Union, Mesirs' J. Duggm, R. McKenzie and E. Hooper. It was decided to open the season on Saturday next, and that the juniors and third-class players hold a meeting in the Y.M.C.A. Rooms next Saturday at 8 o'clock, to elect committees, etc. A resolution was passed placing on record the serious loss the Wairarapa would sustain in the removal of Mr J. O'Leary, of the Masterton Club, to Auckland, 1 and wishing that player every success in ihe future. A motion was passed expressing appreciation of t.he services rendered to the Club during the past year by Messrs J. C. Ewington, E. Welch, W. S. Lett, D. Beere, J. Adams, E.

Hooper, T. G. Hoar and the Ladies' Social Committee. It was decided to make arrangements to play a match at Masterton on Easter Monday with the Star Club, of Wellington. ! Donations were made as follow to the Club's Funds: —Mr E. Welch, 21 guineas; Mr J. Scorrar, senr., 10s 6d; Mr D.Beere, 10s (id. TE ORE ORE CLUB. The annual meeting of the Te Ore Ore Club was held on Saturday evening. There was a good attendance of members, and Mr W. Thompson occupied the chair. ■ It was decided to enter Junior and Third class teams for the Wairarapa Rugby Union competitions. The annual subscription was fixed at 5s for juniors and 2s 6d for thirdclass players. The following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr H. H. Beetham; President, Mr W. Cameron: Vice-Presi-dents, Messrs R. F. R. Beetham, 0, Beetham, A. Cameron, W. Halley and Rev. Father De Lach; Captain, Mr W. Thompson; Vice Captain, Mr V. Williams; Secretary and Treasurer, .Mr. A. August; Management Committee, Messrs August, Thompson, Williams, J. Bentley, W. Paraone; Selection Committee, Messrs Thompson, Williams and W, Paraone. It was decided to open the season on Saturday next.
