SERIOUS ACCIDENT.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WOODIVLLE, March 27.' Mr William Logan, a well-known settler and member of the Woodville County Council, met with a serious accident some time yesterday. fie was riding his horse over the back portion of his farm, which is rough country, when the hurse fell over a cliff, and broke his neck. Mr Logan was knocked insensible by the fall, and lay out all night. He was discovered by two neighours about ten o'clock this morning. It was then dlscovered that Mr Logan had his left leg broken above the knee. He was immediately conveyed to the Patiiatua Hospital, where the limb was set. Mr Logan was not quite conscious when the doctor left him.
